One
of the challenges in headsets is having the right one that fits multiple
missions. UFlyMike has developed a new mic and cord module that allows
that to occur. The mic module is designed to plug into the audio input
of the Bose QC2 noise canceling headsets, effectively turning the $300
QC2 into a low-cost aviation headset.
The mic
has a three position impedence switch for easy matching, fully
adjustable sensitivity to assure good audio, and has an auxiliary audio
input for any standard 2.5 mm audio output products such as CD players,
iPod, MP3 or DVDs. The unit is stereo/mono switchable, and is machined
from durable aluminum.
The
UFlyMike is available in Carrier Hangar "E" towards the north
end at a show special price of $200. After the show, the price goes back
to the regular price of $225, plus shipping and handling.

information, or to try out a UFlyMike, visit their booth in Carrier
Hangar "E", or at www.uflymike.com,
